Arenas<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 At arenas athletes will find every necessary infrastructures (secretariat, informatics, bar service, WC, babysitting, first aids, results, speaker, etc).<\/span>
\n\u2013 During Urban Night Sprint there won\u2019t be bar service.<\/span>
\n\u2013 If you are thinking about using babysitting service during the vent, please check the corresponding option during your accreditation process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sleeping floor<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 There will be sleeping floor available at Penamacor Municipal Sports Hall.<\/span>
\n\u2013 Opens: 16h00 \u2013 February 15;<\/span>
\n\u2013 Closes: 16h00 \u2013 February 18.<\/span>
\n\u2013 It demand previous inscription at Ori-Oasis platform.<\/span>
\n\u2013 The athletes must bring their sleeping bags.<\/span>
\n\u2013 It will be forbidden to use competition shoes inside the sleeping floor.<\/span>
\n\u2013 It will be forbidden to cook inside the sleeping floor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Accommodation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 \u00a0There are several possibilities for accommodation near the races.<\/span><\/p>\n

Showers<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 \u00a0Showers will be at the Sleeping Floor<\/span><\/p>\n

Babysitting<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 \u00a0In the forest races, the Babysitting will be at the Arena:<\/span>
\n\u2013 \u00a0There will be no Babysitting during the Urban Night Sprint.<\/span><\/p>\n

Model Event<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 There will be model events in four different maps: Mem\u00f3ria \/ Anascer<\/span>
\n\u2013 Maps will be distributed during the accreditation at the Event Center.<\/span>
\n\u2013 Please select the option \u201cModel Event\u201d during your entry process. In other wise you may don\u2019t have a map for you.<\/span><\/p>\n

World Ranking Event<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 The Long Distance on February 18\u00a0(day 1) will be an World Ranking Event<\/span><\/p>\n

Elite Classes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 The Male Elite class may be splitted in two, depending of the entries. The best of World Raking at 2018 January\u00a031\u00a0will run M21SuperElite and the remaining in M21Elite<\/span><\/p>\n

PIOM 2018 BIB<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 All athletes must use the PIOM2018 bib, given during the accreditation<\/span>
\n\u2013 Only athletes with POM\u2019s official bib correctly placed on the equipment are allowed to start the race<\/span><\/p>\n

Change SIcard number<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Any SIcard change must be done before the start in the secretariat. It will not be allowed any start with changes of information not validated previously at secretariat.<\/span><\/p>\n

Start times<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 It won\u2019t be allowed any change of start times in event days.<\/span>
\n\u2013 In case of any constraint related with start times (example: need of an early start time in the last day) please write it down during the entry process.<\/span>
\n\u2013 Open classes and formation classes won\u2019t have start time, they will have a time interval where they can start with \u201cSTART\u201d box.<\/span><\/p>\n

Race time limits<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 The time limit for Long course is 3 hours, for the Middle distance is 2 hours and for Urban Night Sprint is 1 hour.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fair Play<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 At the end of each course athletes can keep their map, therefore Fair Play is requested to all participants..<\/span><\/p>\n

Chip Control<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Chip Control will be done with Sportident<\/span><\/p>\n

Results<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 The final results of PIOM 2018 will be defined by the sum of points of the 3 races of the competition (Middle, Sprint and Long).<\/span><\/p>\n

Prizes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

WRE:<\/span>
\n–\u00a0Prices for the 5 first in W21E and M21SE.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

PIOM 2018:<\/span>
\n– Prices for the first 5 athletes of Elite classes.<\/span>
\n– Prices for the first 3 athletes of each competition classes.<\/span>
\n– Prices for the first 3 best clubs.<\/span>
\n– Prices for the first athlete for each open classes (Easy Short, Difficult Short, Easy Long and Difficult Long)<\/span>
\n– All W\/M10 and W\/M12 runners will receive a gift, whatever their classification<\/span><\/p>\n

Sport insurance<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Athletes affiliated in POF are covered by POF insurance<\/span>
\n\u2013 National and Portuguese resident non-affiliated athletes are covered by POF insurance.<\/span>
\n\u2013 Foreign and\/or non-resident athletes are not covered by any insurance. They should provide for their own security and insurance<\/span><\/p>\n

Rules<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 PIOM2018 will be regulated by Portuguese Orienteering Federation regulation. In presence of any missing case we will apply the IOF rules<\/span><\/p>\n

Complains<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 The dead line for complains presentation ends 30minutes after the end of the athlete race.<\/span><\/p>\n
